"Each of us is ultimately responsible for our own wellbeing"
Revelation Bodywork was born from the core belief that in order to achieve your personal best,
you must first honor yourself and advocate on your own behalf. Rather than jumping on the latest trend or looking outside yourself for something to make you feel good, it's most important to tune in and listen. Your body will let you know what it needs. As movement teachers, we're here to coach you in a somatic approach to fitness, helping you recognize the smaller details and less obvious clues. When we don't have the answers, we're happy to collaborate with your chosen therapist or doctor to deliver safe, Pilates-based therapeutic exercise and help you feel and look your personal best.
At Revelation Bodywork, we believe that mental and physical health are interrelated and both are necessary to create a balanced, centered human being. Our teaching style extends far beyond the original Pilates teachings with strong influences based in science and the therapeutic communities we collaborate with. Our Pilates Program focuses on self awareness as opposed to self judgement and creates space for curiosity, allowing clients to inhabit their bodies as opposed to forcing or dominating them.
Unlike traditional Pilates, we go beyond teaching specific choreography into a deeper connection and understanding of your “self” through conscious, healthy movement. We offer you an invitation to experience a sensory practice of finding awareness in the body rather than searching for what you “should” encounter. Expectations and self judgement are suspended and curiosity is encouraged. Ultimately, we aim to support you in connecting with your body as never before and taking this experience with you outside the studio and into your everyday life.

Hailey Shull has been dancing since she took her first steps and grew up with an innate passion for kinesiology and wellness. In high school, she taught and competed at the national level in various forms of dance including contemporary, jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop. Following her 2014 graduation from Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda, MD, Hailey attended Fordham University in New York City where, along with a full course load, she continued to pursue her career in commercial dance.
While in NYC, Hailey spent many grueling hours in the studio and developed a number of chronic injuries related to hypermobility and overuse. Having seen firsthand how her mom has helped countless clients with similar issues, she turned to Pilates as a method of rehabilitation and prevention of future injuries. As her body strengthened and increased in range of motion and endurance, she recognized the potential opportunity before her and decided to pursue Pilates as her full time career. She completed her teacher certification with Body Arts and Sciences International (BASI) in 2017 and returned from NYC in 2018 to join Revelation Bodywork.
